Themed ‘Beyond Vines’, the use of clever lightning highlighted the creative and rich design patterns of the basket woven (in the form of flowers) with a sculptural form that allures to the Bornean context of sprouting vines, pays homage to the rattan materials as well the skills of the Iban women weavers; who Rosemarie Wong and her team have tirelessly worked with to revive and re-invent the craft to ensure its relevance and know-how will be sustained for the next generation.
