PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

A schematic design exercise to propose a makeover of the existing Wisma Sumber Alam façade and associated amenities to bring the building into the 21st Century. A façade with green building considerations was proposed with the design concept to suit the corporate image of Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation new image as well as to improve legibility to the site and building entrances for the various agencies housed there.

The challenge for this, was that the design was to be incorporated during the constructions stage while the building is to be kept operational. The mode of installation and construction sequences were thought through during the design proposal.
